and styled / art-directed by London start-up agencies SSKA and Tiger’s

Designed by top London digital agency, Anorak, the launch of the brand new King of Shaves consumer website www.shave.com heralded a new era in the brand's evolution. Our first website went live back in 1998 when Will Carling was endorsing King of Shaves!
Over a year in the making the site features a sleek new design,
informative Flash animation, interactive product selectors as well as
the usual mix of informative shaving and skincare tips, top viral games and, of course, Will King's famous blog.
King of Shaves employees, guests and members of the male grooming press
got together over a game of traditional lawn bowls to celebrate the
launch of the Azor S Sensitive, variant of the award winning King of Shaves Azor system razor which has been designed specifically for sensitive, dry and problem skin.
The teams battled through rain and fierce competition to enjoy a novel launch at the Pavilion sports club in Hyde Park.
Well, we've won another award for our cutting edge design. This time it's for our outdoor 48 sheet "bendology" poster campaign.
GRAMIA (The Grocery Advertising and Marketing Industry Awards) have awarded the Azor this accolade in the outdoor category. The 48 sheet campaign poster heralded the launch of the Azor in 850 UK poster locations over the Easter period of 2009.
We are now shortlisted for the Diamond Award announced on the 29th October 2009 at The Landmark, London. Fingers crossed, we'll win that award as well!
The King of Shaves Company Ltd., has created an innovative opportunity for the general
public to invest in its first ever ‘Shaving Bond’, a way to
save money (with a 6% per annum interest rate) and shave better.
The proceeds of the Shaving Bond will be used entirely on marketing the
King of Shaves shaving brand. Will King is directing a national press, TV and radio campaign which promotes and explains the Shaving Bond in
detail. With only five thousand of the £1,000 Shaving Bonds
available Will is expecting the investment to be oversubscribed, so he advises
applying early.

The driving force behind the retail success story that is King of Shaves, Will King, was named Ernst & Young London & South Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009, at a dinner in London on 15 June 2009.
The judges described King as an ‘inventor who has the drive, passion and determination to take on two major competitors in the market.’
King will go forward to a national final in October to compete for the title Ernst & Young Overall UK Entrepreneur Of The Year, with 53 top executives from across the UK. Following on from the King of Shaves Azor for men we have now launched the King of Shaves Woman Azure System Razor for women.
Packaged in the same recycled (and recyclable) materials as the men's razor, the design purposefully eschews the traditional pastel colours of female shaving for a strong, striking and on-trend gold and black design.
