IT'S TIME TO SHAVE AND SAVE BETTER... The King of Shaves Shaving Bond No.1

The King of Shaves Company Ltd., has created an innovative opportunity for the general public to invest in its first ever ‘Shaving Bond’, a way to save money (with a 6% per annum interest rate) and shave better.

The proceeds of the Shaving Bond will be used entirely on marketing the King of Shaves shaving brand. Will King is directing a national press, TV and radio campaign which promotes and explains the Shaving Bond in detail. With only five thousand of the £1,000 Shaving Bonds available Will is expecting the investment to be oversubscribed, so he advises applying early.

The driving force behind the retail success story that is King of Shaves, Will King, was named Ernst & Young London & South Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009, at a dinner in London on 15 June 2009.

The judges described King as an ‘inventor who has the drive, passion and determination to take on two major competitors in the market.’

King will go forward to a national final in October to compete for the title Ernst & Young Overall UK Entrepreneur Of The Year, with 53 top executives from across the UK. The UK winner will go out to Monte Carlo in May 2010 to represent their country at Ernst & Young’s World Entrepreneur Of The Year awards.

Azor launched in Japan

Will King was in Japan this week to launch the King of Shaves Azor Hybrid Synergy System Razor in partnership with the Kai Corporation.

The press launch was on 10 June 2009 at the Virgin Café, Shinagawa, Tokyo.

Will said, “the launch was judged a great success - we are delighted that Japan features so early on our global roll-out of Azor, and we are pleased and delighted to be working with such professional partners.”

Already officially confirmed as the youngest entrant in the 2009 OSTAR Oscar has a long term goal to be a race winning contender on the start line of the race all singlehanders want to compete in, the Vendee Globe round the World Race. Oscars target is 2016! He will be watching the 2008 race online like thousands and thousands of others.

There is only one aim for Mike in this season’s MGCC Cockshoot Cup; the overall title.

After winning class C and finishing 2nd overall last season (2004), the championship is the only thing, which eludes him. He will be competing in 1500CC MG Midget.

“My rallying year is going OK , however, my personal year is unfortunately not going so well. To date I have competed in three national rallies as well as a rallycross meeting in front of circa 15000 spectators.

The competition has grown significantly in The Historic Rally Championship for 2007 especially in the category 3 cars as my own, with such names as Jimmy McRea (ex five times British champion and Colin McRea's father ) competing in a similar car.”

“I have recently competed on the Trackrod Rally in Yorkshire and finished 10th overall but only 5th in class out of a total of 71 starters.

The event was run from the Yorkshire showground in Pickering and even had a short spectator stage in the showground.”

“My last event of the 2005 season is now over and I have ended up 1st in class and 3rd overall in the ANCRO National Clubman's Rally Championship.

The Bulldog Rally was run out of Oswestry in North Wales last weekend and although it did not rain on the day itself the stages were very wet, muddy and slippery. I went into the last round lying second in the championship ( first had already been won ) with Alistair Adams in third, only one point behind me. Nine points further back was fourth place.”

“I spent last weekend in the very wet and muddy conditions of Mid Wales whilst competing on "The Bulldog Rally", the last round of the Khumo National Clubman's Championship.

Due to a bit of bad luck earlier in the season I was unfortunately not in a position to win the Championship outright so decided to try and go as fast as I could to gain a few places and prove to my other competitors that I am a forced to be reckoned with.”
