For the third year running the King of Shaves team won a Honda 4 Stroke championship!
Having spent two years in the 130hp class, this year they moved up to join the 'big boys' in the 225hp class. Driver, James Sheppard, and navigator, Neil Sinclair, fought off strong compeition but by the end of round four they had already won this year's championship. At the end of the last round at Cowes, 'King of Shaves' had amassed a massive 78 points, well clear of second place 'Accucard' and third place 'Climax' who had 48 points each.
Guests were again hosted on Herbie Dayal’s powerboat so spectators got a close up view of the racing action in Cowes. Will King was spectating in Cowes and said, “This powerboat series has been shown on television, has been reported on radio and in the press and has brought good coverage for our King of Shaves brand. It is purely down to the skill and organisation of James and Neil that we have won the title yet again, making the King of Shaves boat the focus of all the reporting. Our congratulations to both of them!”
